The Robert R. McCormick Foundation and the Chicago Tribune has recently announced that they have awarded 27 grant awards totaling $850,000 to local agencies that provide a broad range of parenting programs.
The treatment programs are designed to improve the social and emotional well-being of children affected by abuse and family violence, and to assist in reducing the risk of child abuse.
